CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt, Hourly

COMPENSATION: $13.00 per hour

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Somerset On-site Leasing Manager is the live-in leader responsible for daily operations at Somerset Apartments in Rexburg Housing. This role focuses on leasing performance, resident satisfaction, rent collections, and accurate administration of student housing records. The On-site Manager is the primary contact for residents, parents, and ecclesiastical leaders, ensuring compliance with BYU-Idaho Approved Housing standards while building a positive, supportive community.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Achieve leasing and renewal goals through marketing, outreach, and resident engagement.

• Manage daily leasing operations including tours, calls, emails, and follow-ups.

• Use leasing tools such as Entrata, SEO, and online marketing platforms.

• Maintain accurate resident ledgers, contracts, and account records.

• Coordinate move-ins, assignments, and property readiness.

• Foster a positive resident community and promote Student Living principles.

• Communicate with ecclesiastical leaders and provide accurate student information.

• Support resident events and community-building activities.

• Ensure all property pricing and details are accurate on the BYU-Idaho Approved Housing search site.

• Attend monthly forums, trainings, and complete “New Manager Training.”

APARTMENT MANAGEMENT REQUIREMENTS:

• Must live on-site (separate housing provided from student apartments).

• Advocate for Student Living principles with a respected on-site presence.

• Maintain annual ecclesiastical endorsement and comply with BYU-Idaho dress and grooming standards.

• No long-term guests or pets allowed in on-site manager housing.

• Verify resident eligibility and maintain accurate student address records.

• Make timely apartment assignments and manage student information for ecclesiastical leaders.

QUALIFICATIONS:
