Job description
Lincoln Property Company is seeking a Senior Associate Financial Analyst to join our growing team and support our acquisition and development efforts across New England. This role will be in-office and based out of our Boston office.
In this critical role, you will play a vital part in identifying, underwriting, and executing on real estate acquisitions and developments across various product types. You will collaborate closely with the regional partner and acquisition team throughout the entire deal lifecycle, from sourcing new opportunities to due diligence, closing, and some asset management. Additionally, you will contribute to the daily operations of the deal.
Responsibilities:
• Manage Associate level members of the Acquisitions and Development team.
• Oversee the underwriting of all new acquisition and development opportunities across various product types (office, residential, mixed-use, industrial, retail, medical office, data center) and submarkets.
• Tour potential acquisition or development opportunities and communicate directly with brokers and/or sellers.
• Assist acquisition team with sourcing new deals, overseeing the production of IC memos, quarterbacking the Due Diligence/Closing process.
• Conduct quarterly financial reviews of the region’s portfolio and prepare to present status updates on the financial performance of acquired assets.
• Assist with disposition strategies and activities for assets approaching the end of their investment hold period.
• Pitch opportunities directly to existing and new equity partners and lenders.
• Assist the development team in underwriting opportunities.
• Maintain expert level understanding of market conditions.
• Prepare financial models, presentations, and reports to support investment decisions.
Desired Competency, Experience and Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, or related field preferred, but not required.
• Ideally 3-5 years of experience in real estate financial analysis or a similar role
• Strong analytical skills with excellent financial modeling skills (e.g., Excel, Argus).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence.
Pay Range
$90,000 — $120,000 USD
