Director - Tax Credit Equity

Berkadia Affordable is a privately-held, fully integrated affordable housing finance platform, providing mortgage banking, investment sales and tax credit syndication to our developer and investor clients, wither over $5B of affordable transaction volume in 2026. National in scope, the Berkadia Affordable platform is looking to expand its team with the hiring of [Senior Director / Director] within the Tax Credit Equity business.

This position will support the Company’s strategic growth as a key member of the Investor Relations team, and will focus specifically on managing investor relationships and upper-tier closings for various product offerings, including multi-investor and proprietary tax credit equity funds.

Director , Investor Relations :

• Develop and maintain strong communication with existing investors in support of Senior and Managing Directors in overseeing specific investment criteria.

• Prepare and manage investment summary preparations; lead investor diligence and coordination of upper and lower tier agreement reviews and manage investor closing timelines.

• Coordinate with Acquisitions, Underwriting, Fund Management, Legal, and Asset Management on investor requests and in connection with proprietary fund closings.

• Track and maintain pipeline reports and investment summary templates; uphold data integrity.

• Provide guidance and feedback to Analyst team; actively contribute process improvements.

• Possess a high level of knowledge of LIHTC program, gain knowledge of Berkadia’s history, performance and overall structure, and stay current on knowledge regarding LIHTC market and trends.

• Represent Berkadia at industry conferences and investor meetings, and attend Berkadia company meetings as needed.

• Travel Requirements: 15-20%
